ContactAbout
Ballet d'Jèrri officially opened its doors on 9th January 2023, with a core of 9 resident dancers who work 8-hour days, five days a week, training and developing performances to share with their audiences in Jersey; nearly 1,000 dancers from all around the world applied for these roles.
To Ballet d'Jèrri, dancing is all about community, and as a registered Jersey charity, they want to ensure that their objectives are more than a simple box-checking exercise. Ballet d'Jèrri are proud to be partnered with ArtHouse Jersey and Scottish Ballet, taking dance into primary schools, parish halls, parks, and public spaces. Their goal is to make great art that belongs to everyone, thus contributing genuine social impact, and building a more inclusive and effective future for our Island and dancing. Ballet d'Jèrri want the children of Jersey to grow up with role models that encourage them to pursue excellence in whatever they choose to do.
Ballet d'Jèrri also performs on tour internationally, flying the Jersey flag, and representing the culture of the Island abroad.
With corporate memberships, artistic sponsorship opportunities and gift matching schemes available, plus the chance to partner on activity (for example community benefit, talent development, and internal touring), Ballet d'Jèrri is deeply committed to ensuring that those who invest in them are rewarded for it. Please contact Ballet d'Jèrri to discuss a bespoke, tailored package that suits your employees, clients, and company ethos.
