Ballet d'Jèrri's annual weekend celebration of dance - Ballet in the Park 2026 - is back on 27th and 28th June at Howard Davis Park.
Ballet in the Park brings together professional performances, open classes, and community events. Whether you're a longtime ballet lover, or just fancy a sunny afternoon with something unexpected, there's something for everyone at Ballet in the Park: pop-up dance performances, dance workshops, face painting, food trucks, live music, family classes, and the chance to see some of Jersey's finest dancers up close. No tickets required!
Ballet in the Park is part of a much-loved tradition seen in cities around the world, bringing dance out of the theatre and into open-air public spaces. In Jersey, the event transforms the bandstand at Howard Davis Park into a lively hub for company classes, rehearsals and performances across the weekend.
It offers a relaxed way to experience Ballet d'Jèrri’s work in a setting quite unlike a conventional theatre: an invitation for first-time audiences to discover the company, while regular supporters can enjoy dance surrounded by the park's natural setting.
Bring a picnic and plan to spend as much or as little time as you like at Ballet in the Park.
Saturday schedule:
- 10:00 - 11:45: Ballet d'Jèrri company training and rehearsals
- 12:00 - 12:30: Minis ballet class
- 12:30 - 13:15: Ballet 7-10 years class
- 13:15 - 14:00: Ballet 11-15 years class
- 13:15 - 14:15: Improv all levels class(on the grass)
- 14:15 - 15:15: Advanced ballet class
- 15:15 - 16:00: One-on-one coaching lessons (pre-registrations required)
- 16:00 - 17:00: Advanced contemporary class
- 17:00 - 17:45: Intermediate jazz class
- 18:00 - 19:00: Dance students’ showcase
- 19:00 - 20:00: Ballet d’Jerri performance
Sunday schedule:
- 10:30 - 11:45: Ballet d’Jerri company training and rehearsals
- 11:15 - 12:00: Mat pilates class (on the grass)
- 12:00 - 13:00: Family all-ages ballet class
- 12:00 - 13:00: Somatic movement workshop with SOMA Jersey (on the grass)
- 13:00 - 13:45: Family all-ages contemporary class
- 14:00 - 15:00: Lindy Hop class
- 15:15 - 15:45: Musical guest: Michael Hutchings
- 16:00 - 17:00: Ballet d'Jerri performance

Ballet in the Park is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately and be mindful of sun protection. The event may run as scheduled rain or shine; but if Ballet d'Jèrri need to cancel due to inclement weather, they will announce this on all channels as soon as the team make the call.
