Based in Jersey, Channel Islands, the well-established academy is seeking a Dance and Performing Arts Teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring young performers and contributing to a supportive, nurturing studio environment.

The ideal start date for the position is February or March 2026. To support relocation, short-term accommodation can be provided for the first few weeks while the successful candidate settles into island life.
This is an employed position, offering a monthly pro-rata salary, and is intended for someone looking to commit to the school for a minimum of two to three years.
Role responsibilities
The successful applicant will teach a range of dance and performing arts styles, with a focus on jazz, tap and musical theatre. The academy follows the IDTA syllabus for tap and jazz, and training can be provided where required.
Experience in acro is a significant advantage, though not essential. Candidates should be open to undertaking their Acrobatic Arts teacher examination if they do not already hold this qualification.
The role involves working with students of varying ages and abilities, contributing positively to the teaching team, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
