Children's classes start from age 2+ with Melody Bear pre-school classes, which introduces children to dance and movement using the natural actions of the body. Other Jodie Lee Performing Arts Academy children’s classes available are across ballet, tap, modern, acro, contemporary, street dance, freestyle disco, and musical theatre. The Jodie Lee Performing Arts Academy is proud to specialise in IDTA examinations, including performance medal tests as well as Melody Movement (non-competitive award schemes) that give all students the chance to work towards badges, rosettes, medals and trophies without the pressure of graded examinations, but still with the same high standard of technical training.

In September 2023, the Jodie Lee Performing Arts Academy integrated with the Progressive School of Music, creating the largest dance and performing arts school in Jersey.
