Open Class: Intermediate Contemporary
Ballet d'Jèrri dancer Anna Daly teaches an open contemporary dance class.
Join Ballet d'Jèrri for a series of open workshops led by their professional dancers. The company's dancers represent a wealth of experience in different styles and disciplines, and this workshop series aims to make the resource of their knowledge and expertise more accessible for the local dance community.
Hosted at the Ballet d'Jèrri studio at Fort Regent, these one-off workshops are a chance to explore different aspects of dance training, introduce new movement, or supplement an existing dance education.
About this session:
- In this open class, the focus will be on contemporary dance technique at an intermediate level, so some previous experience would be recommended
- All ages are welcome
- Please arrive at the studio around 15 minutes prior to the class to check in; you may also catch the tail end of some Ballet d'Jèrri rehearsals!
- The recommended attire for this class is comfortable clothing that allows free movement range, and socks
