The rumours have been brewing... and now it’s official. Madisons: The Big 80s Reunion is landing in Jersey on Saturday 28th March, bringing the ultimate throwback day party to the Island.
Following the completely sold-out Martin Kemp event earlier this year, Daypartyjsy is keeping the 80s momentum alive – and this time, it's all about recreating the magic of the legendary Madisons era.
Taking place at Bar Nautique (formerly Vittoria) from 15:00 to 20:30, this strictly 21+ event is unapologetically aimed at the original Madisons crowd. If you were there the first time around, this is your reunion. If you missed the last 80s party, here's your second chance.
And there's one important rule: STRICTLY no modern remixes.
This is pure, original 80s gold all the way. Expect wall-to-wall anthems from the likes of ABC, Bros, Jason Donovan, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston and Kylie – the songs you know every word to and won’t be able to stop singing.
Delivering the soundtrack to the afternoon are local legends Murray Norton & Friends, who will be spinning special 80s reunion DJ sets. Joining them are resident favourites DJ Mel and Warren Le Sueur, setting the tone from doors open and keeping the dance floor packed with timeless classics.
80s fashion is highly encouraged, so dust off the shoulder pads, dig out the neon and embrace the nostalgia; but above all, comfort is key. This is a day party designed for dancing.
With the last event selling out fast, early booking is strongly advised. Expect big hair, bigger tunes and an atmosphere that proves the 80s really were the golden era of going out.
