Curtain Rises Again: Jersey Opera House Returns with ENCORE! Welcome Home

The curtain is set to rise once more at Jersey Opera House, as the Island's historic theatre reopens its doors with a landmark production: ENCORE! Welcome Home.

This special event will see over one hundred performers take to the stage across three nights, bringing together professional artists and aspiring talent from Jersey and further afield. Audiences can look forward to a dazzling mix of dance, music, and storytelling that celebrates community, creativity, and dreams for the future.

The production has been devised and directed by Nick Carver, Victoria Hermitage, and Luke Brown – the acclaimed creative team known locally for their work on Shrek, Chicago, and Ghost. With their vision at the helm, the show promises to be a spectacular showcase of Jersey's vibrant performing arts scene, and an unforgettable way to mark the official reopening of the theatre.

Performance dates:

VIP tickets for the performance on Friday 3rd October includes champagne on arrival in the Upper Bar, a complimentary programme, and an exclusive after-show reception with champagne, canapés, and the opportunity to meet the cast.

Audiences of all ages are invited to take their seats and be part of this historic moment as the Jersey Opera House stage comes alive once again!

Alongside the reopening celebration, Jersey Opera House has also unveiled its full autumn programme as well as some winter productions, featuring a mix of dance, theatre, comedy, and live music. Dance highlights include Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, A Fairytale for Christmas, An Evening of Burlesque Cabaret, and the Tiger Who Came to Tea.
