Footloose the Musical Auditions - 12th October

The Jersey Green Room Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for Footloose the Musical, from the creative team that brought you We Will Rock You!

This exciting production will hit the stage at the Royal Jersey Showground, in Easter 2026.

Audition schedule

> Saturday 11th October: dance auditions - for performers interested in the featured dance ensemble or the roles of Ren, Ariel, Willard, Rusty, Wendy Jo, and Urleen. Be prepared for a high-energy dance call!

• 14:00 - 16:00
• 16:30 - 18:30

> Sunday 12th October: principal and ensemble auditions - for anyone auditioning for all other speaking roles or the ensemble.

• 11:00 - 12:30
• 13:00 - 14:30
• 15:00 - 16:30

> Monday 13th October: invited recall - selected performers from Saturday and Sunday may be asked to attend.

What you need to know

• Auditions are open to all aged 16+ (parental consent required for anyone under 18)
• You only need to attend one audition day (Saturday or Sunday)
• All auditions will include movement, acting, and singing; Saturday auditionees should expect a more dance-focused session
• Some performers may be invited to Monday's recall audition
