The Jersey Irish Society's regular events include the flagship Annual Black Tie Ball, musical events, Bloomsday celebrations, quizzes, and more.

The aims and objects of the Jersey Irish Society are:

• The promotion of social and friendly contact amongst the membership, and with the community of Jersey;
• The encouragement of the preservation of the history, folklore, language, literature, sport and music of Ireland;
• The assistance of members in times of adversity; and
• To assist benevolent and/or charitable organisations.

The Jersey Irish Society is supported by funding under the Irish Government's Emigrant Grant Support Scheme. The Society is non-partisan in politics and religion.
